09-Jul-2010 – Softlink’s inaugural Open Day was recently held at Oxford University Press on Monday 5th July and proved to be a hugely successful event with 50 of our Liberty users attending.The attendees were treated to an introductory seminar on the future of Softlink, a designated focus group and a relaxing guided tour through the city centre of Oxford. |

02-Jun-2010 – Softlink is delighted to announce that we are once again exhibiting our Liberty software at the 2010 BIALL Conference at the Brighton Centre, Brighton from June 10-12.
This will be our 4th successive year attending this event which brings law firms and law librarians from the UK and Ireland together with many engaging and practical sessions.

Softlink’s Liberty software has recently been chosen and implemented by Oireachtas Library Research Service(the Library and Resource Service of the Irish Houses of Parliament). A major programme of cataloguing has been underway, fully integrating the bibliographic collection with papers digitised using ArchivalWare from PTFS. This combination allows the library to provide members of the Irish Houses of Parliament to use Liberty’s sophisticated search tools allowing quick access to accurate information. Liberty is a powerful and cost effective solution in use in a wide range of libraries. |

05-Oct-2009 – Softlink Europe, sponsors of the School Librarian of the Year Award 2009, would like to congratulate this year's winner – Lucy Bakewell, from Hill West Primary School Sutton Coldfield.The winner was announced at an exciting event in London Zoo on the 5th October.
