Softlink welcomes OverDrive's growth in Asia Pacific

Softlink, developer of Knowledge, Content & Library Management (KCLM) Systems, welcomes the growth of OverDrive as they open a new Australian-based office in Melbourne.

OverDrive Australia will provide stronger exposure for publishers, booksellers, and libraries throughout the Asia Pacific region, and offer localised training and technical support for libraries using the service.
As an authorised reseller of OverDrive in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, Softlink is working with OverDrive to expand the digital content services for schools, organisations, and academic institutions. Over 340,000 eBooks & audiobooks are currently available for the Australian market and the collection continues to grow as OverDrive attracts more publishers.
18,000 libraries worldwide, including over 300 in Australia and New Zealand, have already committed to using the OverDrive service to lend eBooks, audiobooks, and digital content to their patrons.
