Shared Learning With School Librarian Association Of Victoria And Softlink Australia

Friday, April 23 2010

Softlink Australia was one of only a handful of exhibitors invited to attend the highly anticipated School Librarian Association of Victoria – (SLAV) conference. The one day event was held at Etihad Stadium, Docklands Melbourne. The theme of the conference was Shared learning.

The conference attracted over 250 library technicians and library assistants from across Victoria. It was a great opportunity for Softlink representative Deirdre Gibb to present the benefits of Oliver and Oliver Junior. Oliver is Softlink’s web-based Library Management Solution with easy to use features providing students and teachers secure access to learning resources for schools across the globe.
Softlink have a long standing relationship with SLAV who are celebrating their 50th anniversary. SLAV is an association for Librarians, Teacher Librarians and Library staff to build and share their experiences of working in school libraries. It allows the Victorian school library community to connect with other members through state-wide networking.
